Little Explorer Classes
Language Exploration
American Sing Language
2-5 years old
Explorers will jump into basic American Sign Language through games, music, finger play, and fine motor skill activities. Explorers will learn how to communicate their emotions, basic needs, colors, body parts, animals, letters & foods. This L.E.C is especially beneficial for our 2-4 year old students who have not yet developed verbal language skills.
Spanish
2-5 years old
Explorers will adventure through the Spanish language each week. They will learn colors, numbers, body parts, animals, basic need phrases and more! Spanish will be implemented through games, and hands-on sensory based activities!
The Arts Exploration
Art
2-5 years old
Explorers will dive into various Art mediums and self-expression projects through hands-on lessons and activities. They will learn techniques, vocabulary, and create their own masterpieces that will be displayed during the Winter Showcase.
Dance
2-5 years old
Explorers will learn technique, and movements across several different dance styles, while gaining confidence, strength and stage presence. Each week they will begin class with full body stretches, and dive into different dances. Explorers will perform what they have learned at the Winter Showcase.
Music
2-5 years old
Explorers will learn music theory, and have the opportunity to play and adventure through different musical instruments. Each week Explorers will be submerged in hands-on sensory based musical lessons, and will perform what they have learned during the Winter Showcase.
Design
5 & Up Only
Explorers will learn different design mediums and elements including Graphic Design, Clay Modeling, Button & Pin Creation, Clothing Design, Design Publication, Screen-printing and more! This L.E.C will only be available to our our Jumpstart and School Age Students.
Mind, Body & Soul Exploration
Mindfulness & Movement
2-5 years old
ISALSC implements Yoga & Meditation as a key part of daily curriculum. Explorers will participate and expand on the base knowledge taught in class. This class will enhance these skills and expand into Body Autonomy, Breathing Techniques, Emotional Regulation, Movement, Mindfulness, Meditation & more!
Science Exploration
STEM
4 & Up Only
Explorers will participate in hands-on sensory based lessons. they will explore the world and their own imagination through immersive activities. Explorers will create their own models, learn creative and critical thinking skills, problem solving, decision making, leadership, and cultivate their curiosities.
Mad Science
2-5 years old
Explorers will participate in hands-on sensory based science experiments each week. They will create their own experiments and put and ISALSC spin on the classics such as: Volcano Eruptions, Elephant Toothpaste, potato Clocks & more!
